By utilizing the latest innovations in both technology and human resource practices, LSR has created a state-of-the-art refinery which brings real economic value to the community and its many stakeholders.PURPOSE: The Maintenance Supervisor is the liaison between Contract Maintenance and operations for identifying and correcting maintenance processes, assuring priority maintenance work is completed utilizing appropriate resources and in conjunction with production schedules. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as primary contact between production and maintenance to schedule required maintenance, prioritize maintenance schedules ensuring PdM and PM work are completed first. Enter and approve work orders and maintenance requisitions Provide back-up support for the Maintenance Manager. Ensure all work is done according to established safety & precision standards, train technicians in fundamentals of maintenance and reliability best practices. Coordinate the use of outside contractors for the refinery. Identify and champion continuous improvement efforts. Introduce and manage process sustainability measures. Qualifications: High School diploma; 2 to 4 year technical degree preferred. 2 to 4 years production/operations/maintenance work related experience. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs. An understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment operation. Working knowledge of preventative and predictive-maintenance concepts. A working understanding of Root Cause failure analysis approaches. Effective oral and written communications skills that support teamwork. Analytical and field troubleshooting skills, enjoys creating value, results focused, decision-making and organizational skills. Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks and multiple teams. Demonstrated Leadership skills WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a manufacturing plant environment. Exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights and confined spaces. High Performance Work Team system. 24 -7 operations PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to speak and communicate verbally with others. Ability to utilize basic office equipment. Ability to climb a ladder to heights above 30 ft. Ability to work in the field. Ability to lift at least 40#.
