Instructor/Assistant Professor of Global Business
College of Business seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track Instructor/Assistant Professor of Global Business for its Department of Marketing and Finance . The primary teaching area is Global/International Business. This position is to begin Fall 2013 or Spring 2014. Salary is competitive and commensurate to experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Teach undergraduate Global/International Business, Global Business Seminar, and/or International Marketing with appropriate research productivity.

Frostburg State University’s College of Business is AACSB accredited and values teaching, scholarly contribution, and service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ABD candidates with a firm completion date will be considered for appointment at the rank of Instructor. Previous teaching experience and evidence of scholarly work required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in International/Global Business for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Full-time managerial experience in international business or teaching abroad is desired.

Frostburg State University is located in the Appalachian highlands (elevation 2,000 feet) of western Maryland. Of its diverse student body of more than 5,300, approximately 2,100 reside on campus in 11 traditional halls and one apartment-style community. The main campus covers 260 acres within the town limits of Frostburg (population 7,500). The University also offers courses at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown, on the Catonsville Campus of the Community College of Baltimore County and at Arundel Mills Regional Higher Education Center, as well as online.
