Develop and localize new eLearning modules and update existing modules by creating more interactive experiences for the target audience. This position will also be responsible for the administration of the Learning Management System, and will actively contribute to all relevant eLearning, training and marketing strategy implementation efforts. There will be a requirement to liaise with the Global eLearning team as needed
Develop strategy to manage both Instructor Led and online training through the corporate Learning Management System. Review programmes of teaching and learning to assess their potential for online / electronic delivery, and advise the top management team. Lead the development of required eLearning modules in collaboration with the Sales Training and Marketing teams. Continually improve the end-user’s experience of the eLearning service. Be the principal point of contact to address internal/external inquires and issues related to eLearning. Be responsible for all eLearning resources within the Covidien Training Centre and ensure the provision of technical support for hardware, networks, software and systems relating to eLearning. Actively contribute to the implementation of all eLearning, training and marketing strategies as needed. Lead an eLearning development team. Generate service reports including ROI.
Requirements Minimum 6 years’ experience developing e-Learning programs across a large region or business unit. Minimum 5 years developing e-Learning platforms in all phases Planning, development and implementation Excellent time management skills and adaptability; demonstrated ability to manage a complex workload, prioritize tasks and use good judgment in providing services based on goals Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to customer service; Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment; Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field. Prior experience working in a bi-lingual work environment (Spanish-English) able to effectively speak read and write in both languages, Portuguese a plus. Up to 20% business travel required Proficient in MS Office suite of products
