HRIS Specialist - HR Administration - Human Resources Administration
HRIS Specialist - HR Administration - Human Resources Administration position open. As HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing project management, administration, support, reports and maintenance of our HRIS applications. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide technical system/process solutions that support the overall business and HR strategies, with emphasis on the administration and support of a time and attendance system
  • Manage the timekeeping process including maintaining related records, checking and auditing timekeeping reports, documenting and updating procedures and preparing reports for management
  • Maintain users' accounts in timekeeping system
  • Maintain Timekeeping Database
  • Troubleshoot application problems associated with timekeeping
  • Handle time clock issues
  • Set up troubleshooting calls with vendors and management as necessary
  • Assist HRIS Manager with conversion of new timekeeping updates and enhancement of all HRIS applications
  • Assist in preparation of training documents
  • Design and develop timely and accurate reports with available tools (Crystal Reports, Cognos, Microsoft Access)
  • Assist in set-up and training presentations for field management

HRIS Specialist - HR Administration - Human Resources Administration

HRIS Specialist - HR Administration - Human Resources Administration requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in HR, Business Administration or Computer Science
  • 3+ years experience supporting/maintaining HR/payroll systems or working in an HRIS capacity required
  • Time and attendance experience required
  • Kronos experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large scale HR related system projects
  • Basic knowledge of web related technology and terminology and deployment of web-based applications
  • Excellent knowledge and skills with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Access, Word and Project)
  • Experience with Cognos, Crystal, Access, SQL Server Management Studio
  • Thorough understanding of human resources and payroll functions
  • Familiarity with AS400
