The LMS Manager of Sustainability will oversee a group of Continuous Improvement Specialists located within a particular distribution zone or within five Customer Response Centers. This team will be critical in ensuring LMS/Model Experience principles, management systems and tools are effectively embedded and consistently applied in every aspect of the SBU. The manager will be responsible for building relationships with Area Managers/Site Managers to ensure that the Sustainability process is working effectively with each region. Apart from overseeing the team, the manager will be responsible for the design and implementation of process improvement initiatives that are relevant to the long term health and success of the Sustainability Team. They will actively engage in providing feedback to the LMS, Director of Sustainability in order to calibrate on methodology, process, and long term vision for the team ensuring the development of a world class sustainability framework to support both centralized and distributed locations. The ideal candidate will bring energy, passion and a willingness to learn to the role, coupled with strong managerial skills. Additionally, they must maintain strong analytical skills with an ability to identify problems, provide sufficient analysis, and present recommendations. As the teams will be spread geographically, they must be comfortable with managing remote staff, and willing to travel regularly to the Branches/Sites they oversee.
        Responsibilities: Manages LMS transformation initiatives that promote continuous improvement, increase operating model consistency, and engage & empower employees to enhance the value of service provided to customers. Leads and oversees LMS activities, which may include coaching/mentoring, process mapping, value stream mapping, data analysis, problem solving, measurement and/or sustainability. Supports recruiting efforts to ensure the right talent is in place to execute LMS activities. Provides coaching and mentoring on the application of LMS methodology and tools to further develop LMS experts and coaches, and embed LMS skill set. May participate in the development and implementation of LMS training programs. Supports the LMS learning environment. Designs and delivers presentations to senior management on the results of analysis work undertaken and the status of transformation initiatives. Measures the effectiveness of business process improvement initiatives and presents findings and recommendations to senior management.
