The Director is mutually responsible for the provision of high quality and cost effective patient care with other nursing executive management members.
The Director is responsible for the management of all administrative activities that include planning, organizing, coordination, control and evaluation for inpatient nursing and respiratory services.
The Director is an advocate for nursing and respiratory and provides opportunities for professional staff development.
The Director works collaboratively with PHP Cardiac Service Line VP, departmental directors and administrative staff to implement the hospital strategic plan.
The Director communicates appropriate information in a timely manner to the Vice President of Operations/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) regarding the impact of hospital and departmental strategic decisions.
The Director acts as a representative of the Vice President./CNO.
Nursing Degree required with an active State of Ohio license in nursing.
Masters Degree in nursing, or hospital administration or business administration required
Minimum of 5 years or related departmental experience
Minimum of 5 years managerial experience
Strong clinical background in Cardiac Nursing or Critical Care preferred
