Manages and administers sponsored programs within assigned constituency with a minimum of direction; responsible for program planning and development, proposal submission and project administration; prepares proposal budgets and institutional assurances; understands the University’s preferred positions and negotiates contracts and agreements that support institution’s position; continually monitors fiscal performance and status of required deliverable items; provides guidance to Principal Investigators (PIs) and administrative staff related to sponsor requirements, approvals and expenditures; ensures compliance with sponsor and University requirements; participates in and may conduct in-service training for constituents, including PIs, department administrators and OSP staff and serves on organization-wide committees. Relative Distribution of duties varies with constituency assignment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; business experience in an administrative capacity and customer service and problem-solving experience.

Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of, and experience with, federal or private agency sponsors, contract/grant regulations, procurement, budgeting, accounting and financial management and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
