The Regional Sales Leader's basic job function will be to proactively and systematically develop new direct business in a highly complex sales environment while also developing new business avenues for our company through existing customer channels. This role will work closely with a team comprised of a Key Account Manager, Program Manager, and Technical Operations for the achievement of revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with GE’s company vision and values.
In addition, you will:
Be responsible for the sales of GE Air Traffic Optimization Services products and services in a specified region and other complementary regions where applicable
Be responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals by developing direct relationships with customers and prospective customers
Sell consultatively and recommend to prospects the various solutions offered by GE to address prospect’s business issues
With support of a cross-functional team (Key Account Management, Program Management, and Technical Operations), develops effective sales proposals and RFP responses that identify prospects' business problems, the effects of the problems, and the GE solutions to their problems
Work closely with Key Account Manager throughout lifecycle of customer, including initial sale and ongoing complex up sell opportunities In accounts where a Key Account Manager is not required, the Regional Sales Director assumes full responsibility of the customer lifecycle including contract management, customer satisfaction, and local engagement activities as required
Contribute to a database of qualified leads through referrals and other outbound sales efforts
Assist with the development, planning, and execution of a comprehensive sales forecast that meets the strategic financial objectives of the company
Assist Global Sales Leader as required
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace or digital services industry
Minimum of 3 years previous sales experience
Ability and willingness to travel, as required

Demonstrated track record achieving sales goals in highly technical and complex sales environment
Motivated and self-directed sales professional that operates within proper company guidelines
Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong business work ethic, positive attitude and professional demeanor required
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proficient in learning new computer applications quickly
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
Able to apply principles of logical and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Experience and ability to effectively communicate with Executive levels
Aircraft operational experience is desirable
Ability to achieve sales goals in highly technical and complex, consultative sales environments
Technical aviation / aerospace background
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of GE’s product and service offerings and develop complete understanding of internal pricing and proposal models
Pilot’s license and aircraft operations experience
International sales experience
