The laboratory Department Manager will lead site analytical and microbiological laboratory operations. Will be r esponsible for building organizational capability and technical mastery of laboratory personnel. Lead cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Process) compliance improvements in laboratories and be a ccountable for laboratory results and support for operations.
The person in this role will be responsible for plant laboratory aspects of new product launch including method transfer and stability. Participate in all regulatory and corporate compliance audits.
This role requires candiadates to:

Posess strong leadership skills
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least BS in Chemistry or life sciences
Must have e xcellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
Must have 5 years in management experience in pharmaceutical or OTC drug business
Successful candidates will be willing to travel on the job both domestically and internationally.
With the Cayey plant being a 24 hour operation this role requires abilitiy to work without restrictions, any day of the week or weekend and a variety of hours.
