Under the general supervision of the Assisted Living Regional Director, this position provides administrative and program support services for the Bureau of Assisted Living in the Southeastern Regional Office. This position has the independent responsibility for a variety of complex tasks involving the licensure program for the Assisted Living facilities (licensure for new facilities, changes of ownership, replacement facilities, renewals and licensure amendments). These tasks are mandated by Wisconsin State Statutes and Administrative Codes. This position conducts quality assurance reviews on all Assisted Living program review studies, monitors receipt of required license fees, monitors licensing status and processes licensing letter of transmittal and license certificate. This position evaluates all survey data to ensure the accuracy of recommendations for facility licensure. This position reviews the caregiver background checks as part of the licensing process. The position ensures that appropriate fees are paid by the entity, reconciles and verifies monthly statements for the Bureau of Fiscal Services. This position is responsible for the development, monitoring and accurate report processing of the Adult Program Information System (APIS).

Ability to conceptualize abstract ideas and develop them into concrete forms and functions and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, the public providers and provider organizations.
