As a Senior Financial Associate with RBC Wealth Management – one of the nation’s largest full-service investment firms – you’ll play a key role in helping clients build and manage wealth.
In addition to handling some high-level administrative support tasks, you’ll partner with Financial Advisors to develop new business and gather assets to manage. You’ll actively be involved in the solicitation and education of new clients and in the introduction of products and services. So your strong sales orientation, marketing expertise, and innovative thinking will make you an important member of our team.
High school diploma or equivalent GED
Minimum of 5 years of securities industry experience
Series 7 license and Series 63 (or 66) license
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and reside within 50 miles of office
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Advanced understanding of the stock market and in-depth knowledge of investments and regulatory policies and procedures
Demonstrated sales skills, preferably in investments
Advanced math and analytical skills, including ability to analyze client portfolios
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.)
Strong verbal, written, and inter-personal communication skills including influencing and negotiating skills
Advanced problem-solving ability
Able to independently manage multiple demands and competing priorities
Acts as a role model - able to mentor others and work effectively as part of a team
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail and deadline-oriented environment
Associate of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience required
7 years of securities industry experience
