This is a NON-IT support role and candidates must have Audio/Visual familiarity with sales, customer service or installation experience. You are a highly motivated self-starter who performs tasks and projects with a minimum of supervision. We are expanding our technical call support center and are in need of full time technical support representatives. ONLY CANDIDATES with varied experience in Audio/Video, Digital Signage, HDTV systems and the installing, marketing and/or support of similar product lines will be considered. The candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction with our products. Hands on activities include troubleshooting, email support, forum support of our products for customers.
Position is a Full Time, M-F, day shift role with solid promotional opportunities.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Provide excellent 1st-3rd level technical support for all incoming/outgoing customer phone inquiries in a heavy call volume environment. Process product returns (RMA) for customers. Answer customer inquiries through email or our website.
Strong working knowledge of current OSX and Windows platforms.
Experience with High Definition Home Theater/Pro Audio equipment.
Broad experience in computer video/audio applications.
Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures of solving problems on Windows and Mac based computer applications in conjunction with audio/video products.
Beneficial if you have had experience in a call center environment.
Strong customer service skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills and must be fluent in English.
Candidate must have advanced knowledge of video(SD/HD) and audio (analog/digital) formats.
Education and Experience:
3+ years of technical experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, video media design, home theater installation or related technical field will be given preference and can support existing work history.
