We are searching for a Thermal Analysis Engineer with the following experience and skills.

Primary Function: The ideal candidate will have experience assembling and/or utilizing high temperature sensing equipment including thermocouples and IR detectors, as well as programming software experience.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Experience assembling/using high temperature sensing equipment
  • Thermocouples
  • IR detectors
  • Programming software usage: or directly programming, linking signal feedback from such sources
  • Process controls
  • Power systems
  • Drive mechanisms
  • Experience in high temperature furnace development
  • Industry experience utilizing laser processing
  • Experience with modeling software (heat transport would be a plus)
  • Use of sensing controls
  • Validation and Calculating calibration
  • Simulation of transient systems controls

Required Skills and Experience
  • Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Good writing and communication skills (maintains a lab notebook)
