The Clinical Performance product line delivers subscription software products to hospital and healthcare providers to provide the critical insights needed to support key business decisions. What You'll Do:
The Clinical Performance business seeks a Master's Degree intern to support operational activities of the CareDiscovery and Meaningful Use Quality Manager products and help to improve new and existing documentation. You will work with the product leadership and other members of the product teams within Truvens Health Analytics Organization.
As an intern, you will be exposed to and thereby gain insights into Truven's proprietary risk and severity adjusted methodologies used exclusively for evaluating quality improvement measures within a Hospital as well as Truvens proprietary Product Development Methodology (PDM).
During this time, you will refine analytic skills, interdisciplinary cooperation, and business acumen while working on critical aspects of product management.
Work may include independent projects and supporting activities such as:
Operational Readiness - implementation of operational support strategies and tactics to prepare every aspect of the internal organization for product introduction, training, and implementation
User Readiness - development of user -centric supporting materials to explain the many of the critical complex concepts found within the product
To qualify, you must be in the process of completing a Master's Degree from an accredited institution. Experience with healthcare and or healthcare informatics is not required, candidates with course emphasis in these areas or experience in healthcare management are preferred.
