We have a client in Roanoke VA with a Sr Remedy development role The position will be 6 months initially but is open ended and they have had contractors for 2 plus years Consultants do not have to be on your staff so you may source communication must be very good to excellent Candidates local to the east coast and available to start within 2 weeks are preferred Please let me know if you have any questions 80 Development20 Administration Have to have very good to great communication because they will be interfacing with the business at times Senior Remedy Applications Developer Position Description As a member of an small team the successful candidate will be assigned duties related to application design development integration and testing This position will entail developing business solutions as well as supporting the Remedy infrastructure Preference will be given to senior level candidates with 5+ years of ARS development experience as well as ITSM 7X experience Responsibilities Include Developing applications from business requirements and creating technical design documents in accordance with prescribed development guidelines Installing Upgrading and Configuring ARSpatchesITSM applications Maintaining and enhancing customized Help Desk Change Management and Asset Management products in addition to inhouse developed applications Creating all necessary development documentation and user guides related to application enhancements and development Supporting moderately complex interactive integrations with network monitoring tools Providing third level support for all Remedy applications and infrastructure as well as offhours production support Required Skills 5 + years of Remedy development experience in large scale enterprise environments in ARS 7x ITSM 7X and CMDB 2X Experience customizing ITSM 7X forms and workflow Experience creating custom Remedy applications Experience creating Kinetic applications Experience with Web Services Familiarity with Microsoft IIS Crystal Reports Apache JavaScript Java and similar serverside environments is desired Strong interpersonal and communications skills and an ability to understand and articulate complex ideas and concepts in both verbal and written form
