The Global Tax & Customs function employs approximately 220 professionals. The function is headquartered in Wayzata, Minnesota. Ninety U.S. tax professionals work at the headquarter offices. Other tax professionals are located throughout the world with principal offices in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Winnipeg, London, Amsterdam and Singapore.

Accounting Assistant

will be responsible for assisting the International group with tax compliance projects. The International group is responsible for the U.S. Tax Compliance of 1000+ foreign entities.

Principal Accountabilities:
40% Prepare U.S. tax forms associated with non-U.S. operations of Cargill

40% Additional projects and responsibilities as required

20% Assist with fulfilling documentation requirements


Associate’s Degree in Accounting or completing Associate’s Degree in Accounting by May, 2013

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Strong organization skills, strong attention to detail and follow up, ability to prioritize many tasks, results oriented

Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing

Self-initiative, demonstrated ability to be proactive
