This position can be based in Sunnyvale, CA.
This is a highly technical position which will provide support for the following areas:
Provide Windows server environment and desktop support as well as Test Bench requirements
Provide Linux support including RedHat and CentOS Servers and Desktops
Provide support for local and WAN environment for BYOD, including customized Engineering
Provide support for Solaris OS (especially Solaris 10) - this must include Solaris X86 installation
Provide support for local and WAN environment for BYOD, including customized Engineering
Provide Network support for local and WAN environment, including customized Engineering
Support a ClearCase environment and supporing infrastructure
Provide infrastructure support for email (Exchange) and AD authentication services
Provide First tier support for Network Appliance storage and associated devices
Responsible for diagnosing Remote Access issues
Managing permission issues in a Lab environment
Assist in resolving desktop and server application issues
Able to support specialized engineering applications for local environment
Manage lab hardware and software configuration changes
Manage IT related inventory
Provide first level hardware support for laptops, desktops, rackmount PC''s and printing
Provide first level hardware support for user issues and account management
Able to work with minimal supervision while doing day to day duties
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in CS, MIS, or CIS
5-10 years of related experience
Experience with Clearcase/Clearquest
Experience managing WAN/LAN networks in an Engineering environment
