Systems Engineer (Linux Red Hat)
6 to 8 years of experience in Linux Administration
Virtualization experience (RHEV, KVM or oVirt)
Scripting experience (Bash, Ruby, Python or Puppet)
We are looking fora LinuxOperations Engineer that has experience operating in a distributed, multi-tenancy environment. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Linux Systems with an innate ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex, multi-tier architecture. We are looking for an individual that wants to be part of our cloud scale-out process. You will be able to provide input on the future execution of the Cloud based environments with a strong emphasis on security, scalability and resiliency.
What you need for this position:
Solid Systems Engineering and Operations experience
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, KVM, OVIRT, or similar virtualization
Scripting experience for system administration duties in languages like Ruby, Bash or Python.
PostgreSQL administration experience
Experience dealing with global 24X7 Data Centers
Worked in Agile development methodology environment
Willing to learn and master internal application interfaces
Experience working with Puppet
Advanced experience with storage subsystem technologies using iSCSI and NFS
Know what SaaS and PaaS are and how they can help customers in a Cloud offering.
Security compliance history and mastery of Linux Red Hat command line.
Familiarity with data transfer protocols – http(s), REST, SOAP, JSON
Understanding of Java Web based platforms
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Knowledge with OS, network security and F5 load balancing (firewalls and system hardening)
Perform analysisof the Red Hat based Linux environment and identify methods to improve efficiency and enhance customer support.
Expert level Systems Administration duties such as disk storage management, memory, hardware and software
Assist in creating internal systems administration best practices, standards and documentation
Ability to perform ongoing design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a growingLinuxinfrastructure.

Monitoring and managing all environments.
Designing, scaling out, and maintaining a Cloud-based infrastructure
Developing Scripts and great ideas to automate system deployment to scale infrastructure
Implement horizontally scaled out systems allowing growth globally
Assist in build deployment, management, monitoring and security systems using DevOps techniques
Implementing zero-downtime production pushes.
Provide fanatical production support for applications and infrastructure (including taking part in 24×7 on-call rotation)
Experience with telephony technology (VOIP and TDM)
