  • Job Summary: The Project Report Writer is responsible for delivering services through people, processes and technology. Works with the core reporting team to ensure the application teams fully address users’ reporting needs. Responsible for ensuring reports for specified application(s) are implemented successfully. Facilitates report validation and ensures satisfaction of reports produced and distribution tools. Responsible for development of Clarity reports and SQL for EPIC EMR report consumers. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or computer-related field required. Minimum of four years related experience in Information Technology will be considered in lieu of education. Minimum eight years of applicable computer-related experience or equivalent required. Healthcare experience preferred. May be required to work weekends and holidays to resolve urgent problems with production. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, rapport-building, presentation, and documentation skills required. Ability to plan and organize technical and analytical work. Able to use project planning software, spreadsheets, and word processing software; input data, typing, copying, and effective use of the telephone. Excellent verbal and writing skills; able to communicate effectively and clearly in English, in writing and verbally. Ability to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other areas and vendors. Excellent planning, problem solving, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data, analyze and interpret processes and needs based on limited information; define problems and solutions; make recommendations. Able to manage time effectively and plan and implement objectives effectively.
