Additional Salary Information: Additional $0.75/hr for night shift differential.
Base rate will be $12.42 time of hire. After successful completion of 6 months probationary period/and passing the certification test the base rate will increase to $13.25/hr.
Special Information:

This training is for C.N.A. for the MMHNCC or the Lewistown Infirmary.
Class is a two week commitment and will be conducted at the MMHNCC. Attendance for the two week session is mandantory.
After successful completion of the 2 wwk class, continued employment at the MMHNCC or the Lewistown Correctional Infirmary is guaranteed. Permanent position may be either full time w/insurance, half time w/insurnace, or relief, on-call.
Work is of medium to heavy demand necessitating walking, standing, and lifting. Must have hearing and visual acuity.
Must have a valid State of Montana Driver's License and telephone or equivalent means of reliable communication.

Duties:
The Certified Nurse Aide is responsible to perform care for residents with mental health disorders in a State of Montana long term care facility or correctionaly infirmary under general supervision. Following the plan of care, performs CNA duties to provide the best possible care for each resident, which meets the guidelines set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Competencies:
Some knowledge of personal hygiene and basic physical needs of the elderly. Ability to make observations and report them accurately. Ability to learn routine nursing methods; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively with others;
Education/Experience:
High school graduation; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
