The Women's Health Practitioner delivers speciality care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal, obstetrical and gynecological care by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. The Women's Health Practitioner also provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing and multidisciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Ensures the preparation for each patient prior to surgery, develops and maintains protocols and standardized care plans, OR protocols and order sets. Provides patient teaching, case management and discharge planning.
Develops outcomes tracking system. The Women's Health Practitioner has a collaborative practice agreement with the Obstetrician/Gynecologist and is accountable to the Director of the Family Birth Place. Please forward CV to firstname.lastname@example.org
