Job Description: The Application Support Developer will participate and take a leading role to optimize the software development process. This candidate will define and implement a set of metrics to measure and improve the team productivity, software quality, and time to market. Over time, scope will evolve to cover other information and analytics related to software engineering technologies, tools and methodologies. Responsibilities: Work across development groups to converge on a set of achievable and automatable SDLC metrics Incorporate the metrics to the development process to improve the quality of software Design system applications to maintain the SDLC metrics Implement a custom framework to programmatically extract the metrics from their target toolsets on regular basis (daily/weekly/monthly) Implement a Dashboard that consumes, aggregates and manages the obtained metrics, and presents meaningful and actionable trending reports to senior management. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent with relevant experience Minimum 2+ years experience with PL/SQL, must be able to write stored procedures, triggers, functions. Minimum 2+ years development experience with Java or other programming languages building tools for pulling metrics data Minimum 2+ years current hands-on software development work experience in large-scale distributed technology projects Job Applications Development
