A Communications Analyst II evaluates requests from City agencies for telephone/voice communications services and equipment and recommends appropriate systems. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek.
All candidates indicating the minimum qualifications on their applications will be placed on the eligible list without further examination. On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must:
Have graduated from an accredited high school or possess a GED certificate;
Have five years of experience in the analysis or planning and conducting the design, installation and upgrading of telephone/voice communications systems;
Have an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience in the analysis or planning and conducting the design, installation and upgrading of telephone/voice communications systems.
