The Vice President of Neurosciences reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Neurosciences includes: Neurocritical Care, Spine, Brain & Stroke, Neurodiagnostics, Acute Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit, Rehabilitation Services, Interventional Radiology and Behavioral Health. This key position is responsible for operationalizing the strategic vision for Riverside Methodist Hospital in the areas of responsibility. This position is also responsible for all facets of operations in the areas of responsibility. Activities may include: participating in system service line strategy and planning, staff development, budgeting, and management of the areas of responsibility and is to ensure services whereby patients and families receive high quality, efficient and effective care. Customer service planning and execution of strategies are paramount in ensuring internal customers (i.e., physicians and hospital staff) remain positive and able to work in an environment conducive to both retention and recruitment. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in health administration or a related business field and have at least ten years of experience in developing, overseeing or interacting with physician groups, product lines, managed care and/or business development activities, in a large integrated healthcare delivery system.
