ExamFX, a division of Ascend Learning, is seeking a unique individual with the ability to cross sell, up sell and provide overall support to our e-learning client base as a member of our Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. He/she will be able to enhance customer accounts, generate new business opportunities, increase revenue and expand market share for our company.
ExamFX helps insurance and financial services companies license their employees. They are the industry leader in online training and assessment for Professional Pre-Licensing in Insurance and Securities exams.
Required Skills
The Inside Sales Representative will work in the assigned territory in partnership with outside field representatives. The goal is to maintain and expand present client base and generate new business opportunities leading to increased revenues, and market share for ExamFX.
Initial focus on specific targeted top 25 clients, through high-call volume phone and email contacts.
Support existing company-specific promotional and marketing campaigns as directed by the existing and new business account managers
Lead generation through blanket calling of targeted groups
Upsell/cross-sell present client base for full solutions, with a focus on continuing education, insurance prelicensing add-ons, and securities product lines
Support sales efforts of outside sales team
Reactivation of dormant accounts and new business development activities (i.e microsite & CE contact)
Required Experience
M inimum 2 years experience working in a corporate sales environment, preferably with a quota
Familiarity with B2B and B2C sales strategies
Inbound and outbound customer calling experience
Excellent phone, customer service and follow-up skills (both verbal and written)
Able to demonstrate a consultative sales approach in working with clients
Self-motivated individual with desire for success
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing baseline technology solutions, such as Word, Windows, Internet and popular CRM systems
