MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (Position Summary) As a Systems Analyst at USAgencies, a subsidiary of Affirmative Insurance Holdings, Inc., you will develop high-quality technical solutions to assist users and provide for business needs. Applicants should be innovative, self-motivated, and dedicated. You will work with all facets of the business and other team members to analyze, design, build, and test projects. The ability to document code and processes is a must. It is highly recommended that all analysts are familiar with .Net, the Visual Studio Development Environment, and .Net languages (VB.net, C#, or ASP.Net). A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; or experience relating to the skills and responsibilities listed is required.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to write and maintain technical documentation. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
