The Digital Analyst works closely with the planning group to ensure that the success of online efforts is properly accounted for. As part of the Data Analysis Group, the Analyst helps to measure the performance of online campaigns, illustrates clients’ return on investment, and provides insights into improving performance. He/she utilizes various measurement tools and provides timely in-depth reporting, analysis and optimizing solutions. The Analyst is encouraged to contribute ideas and insights that will benefit our clients.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Partners with the digital planning team to create an appropriate measurement strategy for each campaign
  • Creates and presents analysis templates
  • Utilizes proprietary tools and third party ad serving technologies to report and analyze clients’ post analysis data
  • Observes, evaluates trends of digital campaigns and provides recommendations for optimizing
  • Leverage data analysis tools like SQL, SPSS, SAS in extracting insights
  • Manages the daily responsibilities of data entry, creative trafficking and analyzing data for multiple accounts
  • Aids in the creation of client media objectives and strategies
  • Works with Assistant Planner and/or Assistant Analyst to analyze tracking result
  • May manage day-to-day client interaction
  • Assist media and account teams in growing business opportunities within current clients
  • May be responsible for informing team/client of new opportunities or issues
  • Builds positive relationships with internal and external teams and sets good example for assistant level
  • Assess problems and concerns in a systematic, logical and rational manner
  • Provide guidance to team members nurture/promote team environment
  • Assist in the training of junior team members
  • May be responsible for constructing and delivering accurate, honest and timely performance management documents
Client & Internal Relationships:
  • Support Planners in preparing and delivering work to clients and colleagues
  • Work with Billing department to confirm receipt of invoices and that invoices are correctly reconciled
  • Manages internal/client status reports
  • Attends all status meetings when appropriate
  • May be responsible for informing clients/planning staff of new opportunities or issues
  • Manage relationships with external client vendors
  • Participates and contributes in face to face client meetings
  • Engages with all work-related contacts in a professional & respectful manner
  • Possesses mature and professional business acumen in personal and written communications
Strategic Thinking & Leadership:
  • Keeps current with market research (industry periodicals, email newsletters, websites)
  • Demonstrates active listening skills and ability to apply learnings over time
  • Recognize potential issues and problems, know when to escalate and propose solutions, where possible
  • Takes clear ownership of assigned tasks
Communications Skills:
  • Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
  • Writes in a clear, compelling and concise manner
  • Organizes ideas and information logically and sequentially

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-5 years industry experience
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Strong interest in and familiarity with digital media (internet, mobile, gaming)
  • Desire to learn about interactive media
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn server-based software and tools
