Responsible for m onitoring and resolving i nventory and shipping capacity issues for the Retail business. Analyze and communicate inventory, production, forecast and service issues to a target audience including Management, Customer Solutions, Marketing and Plant personnel.

Understand deployment plans and their impact to inventory availability. Collaborate with the planning group to resolve potential service impacts and ensure consistent communication to the customer service organization. Manage product transitions by depleting old inventory. Manage system set up of the new items. Manage deployment and balance supply through the transition.

Utilize available tools and techniques to improve the management of finished goods. Tracking and analyze performance. Execution of supply/demand related programs. Execute process improvements that impact transportation and distribution costs. Participate in cross functional team projects to drive supply chain efficiencies. Maintain balance between cost to serve and maintaining target service levels to our customers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required Minimum of 1 year supply chain work experience required Available to work approx 1 Saturday a month required

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

SAP and JDA preferred but not required. Proficiency with MS Office products. Strong communication, planning and organizational skills; sense of urgency, innovation and problem solving. Georgia-Pacific is an EOE. M/F/D/V
