As an integral component of Friend’s University and the Division of Student Affairs, this coordinator position, under general supervision of the Associate Director of Campus Life, will provide support in the design, implementation and assessment of Campus Life programs. This includes providing services for the Student Government Association, the programming board, Falcon Student Organizations, non-traditional student services which may include Disability Services. This position also assists with International Student Services by supporting international students, providing international student orientation sessions, and offering multicultural programming on campus. The coordinator will serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Administrator.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Work hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Additional hours will be required on weekend/evenings throughout the year.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree preferred. Must have experience organizing, supervising, and working with student groups and staff members. Must have a working knowledge of college student development theories, event planning and counseling skills. Managerial, administrative, and human relations skills are necessary. Computer proficiency required (MS Office products preferred).

The successful candidate will serve as a role model for students, maintain an appropriate professional relationship with students, role model appropriate behavior and response to students and staff, adhering to departmental and university polices
