Responsibilities:
Operational
Completes tasks in accordance with policy and procedure and meets key metrics
Remains in constant communication with MOT dispatcher
Calls in to MOT dispatcher at the time of arrival to their directed destination
When assisting a Route, report stops taken
Immediately reports completion of tasks to MOT dispatcher
Checks in with MOT dispatcher during downtime (according to policy)
Communicates professionally and effectively with customers, internal and external partners.
Provides assistance and support as directed by MOT dispatcher, or Operation Support Team members.
Escalates high risk situations to supervisor
Using AirClic scanning tool effectively and efficiently.
Responsible for the upkeep of inventory supplied on a daily basis. (Reports any issues to Operations Supervisor)
Consistently acts professionally while assisting team members
Drives vehicles legally and safely (truck or van) with consideration to other drivers and pedestrians
Follows Transportation Safety protocols at all times.
Abides by set procedures for Health/Safety Related Pick-ups
Escalates all vehicle issues via the VIR form, and verbally brings major issues to a Operations Supervisor’s attention

Start of Day

  • Scan in at the Kronos clock (advises supervisor of any issues)
  • Report to Operations Center
  • Take Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Take van keys
  • Receive instruction of tasks from Operation Specialists
Body of Day

  • Complete responsibilities aligned with daily assignment and support
  • Completes assigned tasks in an effective and timely manner.
  • Report completion of tasks to MOT dispatcher and wait for instruction.
  • If there is down time, checks in with MOT dispatcher every 15mins
  • Manage Inventory (TBD)
End of Day

  • Makes sure that the van is neat and orderly went turning it in end the end of your shift
  • Check back in with Operation Center
  • Complete Vehicle Inspection Report and hand in to Operation Supervisor
  • Return Van Keys
  • Returns all borrowed equipment to the correct departments
  • Confirm all Pick-up’s and Special Deliveries with operations staff.
  • Scan out at the Kronos clock (advises supervisor of any issues)
