FRS4432 Agent, Ticketing and Refund

Reports to: Manager, Reservations

This Agent, Ticketing and Refund will professionally perform all aspects of the ticketing fulfillment and refund process for the Reservations Department and in addition to providing legendary customer service as a second-level telephone resource for passengers, reservations agents and airport staff.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Remain current on company procedures, promotions and policies in addition to industry mandates
Meet or exceed productivity goals set by Reservations Management
Process new electronic tickets
Research and refund existing tickets and/or fees in a timely and accurate manner
Recalculate price and exchange existing tickets
Process specialty ticketing including but not limited to Early Returns awards, groups, promotional, corporate and gift certificates
Provide third-level support for reservations and airport staff - offers alternatives, options, and solutions to the problems presented
Proactively contact customers during ticketing and refund failures
Research and correct auto-ticket reject sand agent errors
Complete daily Agent Sales Report (ASR) and station close
Additional projects as assigned
Log and email processing errors to the booking agent
Provide feedback to the TRA Supervisor on agent training needs


Required education, experience and qualifications:
Six months prior reservations call center experience
An excellent working knowledge of the Sabre Reservation system, specifically in the ticketing area
High School diploma or GED
Previous airline or travel agency preferred
Advanced fares and pricing knowledge preferred
Must be accountable and detail-oriented
Ability to provide excellent customer service at all times
Excellent time management, multitasking and prioritizing skills
Posses basic mathematical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to type 25-30 words per minute
Comfortable with working with the standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer, phone along with ticketing printers
Requires 8 to 10 hours of sitting at a workstation
