The Academic Progress and Graduation Specialist will conduct degree and certificate audits on an ongoing basis, year-round. Working with the Assistant Registrar, s/he will manage the entire graduation process from the point of identifying potential graduates to degree/certificate conferral and diploma/certificate issuance. The specialist processes petitions to graduate, issues petition confirmations, conduct program audits, communicates and stores audit results, and confers or denies degrees. S/he is responsible for coding/recording approved petitions to amend, exceptions and overrides, and transfer credits for active students in Datatel.
