The MSBU is seeking a Tier II Help Desk Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Tier II DCO Help Desk Analyst provides configuration and troubleshooting support for customers using the DISA Defense Connect Online (DCO) and third party products. Ideal candidate will have a background in troubleshooting and configuring Windows OS (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7) as well as Apple and Linux OS. Also experience with Windows Server OS and LDAP processes as well as integrating 3rd party applications (such as Adobe Connect 7/8, and Cisco Jabber applications). This position will require shift work.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent and 7+ years technical training. Must have DoD 8570 IAT level II certification. Candidates must have experience in working with end-users to troubleshooting and resolving issues with Microsoft, Linux, and Apple operating systems and software applications

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with web applications, Adobe Connect Pro and Presenter, Java, Flash Media, and Jabber applications. Experience in operating system scripting languages as well as strong technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL and LDAP servers. Microsoft or CISCO certifications are a plus. Good writing, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to work independently and be a contributing team member
