ZeniMax Online Studios Ireland (ZOIL) is looking for an IT Manager to oversee day-to-day IT operations at its brand-new customer service facility in Galway, Ireland supporting the launch of its Massively Multiplayer Online Game.This is a key position that would initially handle all local IT tasks, and as the facility grows, hire additional IT support staff.
Responsibilities:
Build, image, and troubleshoot desktop and mobile computers
Build and image server
Build and troubleshoot network infrastructure
Ensure security of data and IT resources
Work with corporate headquarters to ensure best practices are followed
Perform regular backups of critical data
Create new user accounts and mailboxes
Manage network resources to ensure optimal transmission of data
Maintain custom applications
Hire, train, and manage IT support staff
Willing to work non-standard business hours
Provide around-the-clock on-call support
Provide regular updates to headquarters
Manage IT aspects of office buildout
Manage relationships with vendors and contractors
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of desktop and network support experience
Exceptional social and interpersonal skills
Effective relationship-building skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to teach, motivate, and lead subordinates
Ability to research and resolve escalated, complex, desktop hardware and software issues
Strong proficiency in desktop and network hardware and software
Strong Microsoft Active Directory experience
Ethernet and TCP/IP networking knowledge
Network design, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to work on several tasks at once with frequent interruptions while meeting sensitive deadlines
Must be able to lift 75 pounds (34 kg)
Work with little direct supervision
