L-3 Warrior Systems-Insight (Insight) develops and produces highly sophisticated laser aiming and illumination devices, night vision devices, laser rangefinder and thermal imaging systems for the US Military, allied nations, Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies, as well as the general public. Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the President of L-3 Warrior Systems Division, Insight Operations, the International Business Program Manager (IBPM) will provide both internal and external support to our team of International Business Development (BD) professionals.

Internal support includes serving as the single point-of-contact for all International BD Managers; coordinating all required engineering, production, administrative, logistics, financial, legal, and contract assistance.

External support will entail international travel, to assist BD Managers in communicating company capabilities relating to production, delivery, technical data transfer, and Offset Programs to actual and potential customers.

Serve as Project Lead for the development, execution, and disbursement of international Offset Programs.

Serve as Proposal Manager for international contracts.

Frequent interaction and close cooperation with L-3 Warrior Systems Program Managers, BD Managers, as well as senior and mid-level managers in virtually all company departments.

Communication and collaboration with international government, military, and corporate decision makers.

Qualifications

Senior level management experience within the defense industry, with a broad-based knowledge of complex, Foreign Military Sales contracts.

Must possess good business acumen, be self-motivated, and capable of operating independently with minimal oversight.

BA/BS in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.

Ten or more years of experience in the manufacturing and/or defense industry with a broad base of expertise in managing and/or executing foreign military sales contracts.

Strong, proven project management/coordination skills.

Familiarity with U.S. Department of State and Department of Commerce export regulations.

Thorough understanding of international Offset Programs and broad experience in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

Experienced in the use and execution of contractual agreements including, but not limited to, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Technical Assistance Agreements.

Superior client focus with a positive “can-do” attitude.

Strong verbal and written skills with a keen “business sense” and diplomacy when communicating with customers.

US Citizenship required
