As our Operations Manager - Transformation Leader, you'll be a key resource to the business leaders and process improvement teams in the Distribution Center and across the Nike Supply Chain. You'll work with the leadership team to understand a vision that will enable the organization to meet Nike's quality, cost and time-to-market objectives. You'll work with the leadership team to develop the roadmap necessary to achieve that vision including gap analysis and multi-generational plans designed to close any gaps. You'll provide coaching on principles and tools to drive process improvement activities across the organization. Guide process improvement managers and teams through a structured approach to define process scope and objectives, identify and prioritize opportunities, investigate root causes of issues, investigate and develop improvements and solutions, and deploy process changes. You'll provide tactical and strategic support to process managers and teams during the transformational process.

You'll be responsible for guiding the organization and reporting out on status of activities across the entire facility. You'll help to establish and manage clear and concise project deliverables based on Nike's long-term business objectives. Work with management to refine project plans to meet specific strategic targets as outlined by the annual and long-term business plans. Hold regular informal and formal communication with management teams on progress and status of improvement efforts. Work across all levels of the organization from tactical "operators" up to senior level management to expose all practitioners to applied Lean concepts. 375628

Qualifications

An undergraduate degree in related Business/Engineering/Manufacturing field is required. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate 5+ years of broad business exposure preferably with direct experience in the implementation of business change and process improvement initiatives (or 3+ years with MBA) within your organization. The candidate should have a demonstrable understanding of continuous improvement methodologies that could include lean principles. Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and best practices is a plus. Must have demonstrated the ability to work effectively across a wide range of management and teams. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Ability to influence and facilitate process-based business discussions is a must.
