Seasonal Full Time Equestrian Camp Counselor YMCA -
Hubertus, WI
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the care and supervision of groups of up to 8 children in overnight camp setting.
Enjoy interacting and mentoring a diverse group of campers during the day and in the evening
Educate campers in unmounted horse lectures according to campers ability level
Plan safe and fun activities within camp guidelines for campers when not at equestrian center
Help with care of horses, facility and equipment throughout the summer
Able to work with other staff as part of a team
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification required
Must be passionate about and have prior experience working with children aged 7 or older
Possess a basic knowledge of horses, and how to handle them safely.
Must be able to live at camp from June 3rd - August 18th
Salary Information: $210 per week
