Radiation Oncologist

Responsible for the overall health care of patients; participates on assigned committees, chart audits and peer review; participates in in-service education and case conferences; prepares forms and patient summaries as required; reviews laboratory, x-ray and all ordered diagnostic tests; performs other medical duties as assigned and attends grand rounds at GSHMC as appropriate.

New York State Physician's license required. Must also be Board Certified or Board eligible in Radiation Oncology & have expertise in the latest technology including IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery & brachytherapy. Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required. Will play an integral role in planned major equipment purchases. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are essential to interface with referring physicians and staff.
