Since our establishment in 1987, we have been a trusted and respected
member of the Hopkinsville, Kentucky, community. Cumberland Hall is
located near Fort Campbell Military Base and is 60 minutes north of
Nashville, Tennessee, Cumberland Hall currently serves children,
adolescents and adults with behavioral and substance abuse issues.

This position serves on the leadership team as a
team member in collaboration with other department directors.
Participates and attends leadership team functions without prompting.
Will direct and be responsible for departments that are assigned and
utilize other team members to assist in managing processes and /or
staff as appropriate. It is expected that persons holding leadership
positions provide an image both within the hospital and in the
community that demonstrates professionalism and behavior. A clear
understanding of hospital initiatives, vision and mission are
supported when presenting to staff to whom the leader supervises.
Manages budgets and makes necessary adjustments during periods of
census fluctuations. Acts as a conduit between senior team,
leadership team and supervisors.
• Understands and reports allegations without
delay according to policy.

• Ensures documentation is timely as measured
by HIM record reviews.
• Maintains 24 hour/ 7 days week
• Maintains and promotes high standards of
professional psychiatric nursing in accordance with policy.
• Takes initiative to revise policies in a proactive manner.
• Provides clinical supervision to the Nurse Managers.
• Hold staff accountable.

• Ensures staff are

Experience: Minimum of two years experience in nursing
administration or supervision, plus experience in psychiatric
Education: Masters degree in psychiatry or mental health nursing,
or its equivalent from a school of nursing accredited by the National
League for Nursing, or a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in
License in the state of Kentucky as a registered nurse with no
restrictions attached to license.
