Job Summary:
Affordable Contracting Inc., has teamed up with the #1 Home Improvement Retailer in the nation to deliver an unbeatable combination of value and service. The purpose of this position is to be Outside Sales Consultant.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate the System, adhering to our Selling System so it reflects the needs of the consumer while building a quality commission sale
  • Turn in accurate lead dispositions to sales management
  • Maintain required ratios for in-home sales presentations in order to maximize the potential conversion to net sales
  • Maintain the desired closing ratios as required to maximize sales potential
  • Design and price projects with clients while in the home
  • Ensure are all contracts are complete with respect to required documentation, and are legible and accurate. Make certain that the client understands the contract and confirms that all pertinent elements have been reduced to writing
  • Generate additional revenue through add-ons, referrals
  • Performs related duties as required
  • No overnight travel

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with associates, managers, clients and others
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to lift and carry product sample display cases (occasional lifting of sample cases that individually do not exceed 45 lbs., depending upon product, sample case weight can range from 5-45 lbs.)
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach and climb
  • Ability to work in excess of 50 hours a week
  • Ability to establish priorities, negotiate contracts and communicate effectively (both orally and in writing)
  • Ability to represent Affordable Contracting in a business-like and professional manner
  • Proficient skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Lead Tracking and customer relation management software
  • 2 Years In Home Sales Experience a plus
  • Must own a reliable vehicle
  • Possess vehicle insurance
  • Own a laptop computer or an iPad
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays

Travel requirements:

Sales Consultant is expected to provide their own transportation to and from potential clients home.
