- A minimum of 5 years direct experience in related field within industry.
- Experience in logistics background or with materials management a plus
- Must be highly analytical and experienced in ERP systems such as SAP
- Strong communication skills and analytical/spreadsheet skills a must
Job Description:
Essential Functions
- Responsible for day to day planning across North America plants.
- Works with plants, commercial group, other pertinent functional groups, and customers to ensure continuity of supply across all locations.
- Works with all parties to resolve supply issues while minimizing freight and other operational costs.
- Prepares weekly/monthly production plans for specified customers as directed.
- Leads supply discussion with customers on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Provides analytical support for determining short and long term capacity needs.
- Prepares monthly sales, production, and inventory for areas of responsibility.
- Works continually with the plants to achieve bottle inventory targets.
- Advises plants on production scheduling changes as deemed necessary.
- Develops capacity plans for new business opportunities, maintaining a tracking log of all activities.
- Assists in production planning for other areas of the supply chain as required.
Education / Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred
