Medical Technologist- Laboratory Micro section for PRN Days - 13010AK
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performing analytical procedures that regularly require a professional level of knowledge to execute, interpret, and/or analyze, especially those results that are abnormal or atypical.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university in science, biology, or a closely-related field. One year of supervised clinical experience in an approved clinical laboratory. Certification as a medical technologist or certification eligible by one of the following organizations: American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT) or The National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personal (NCA). Certification required within 18 months of employment. This position requires a theoretical or conceptual understanding of the techniques, methods, and instrumentation utilized in the modern clinical laboratory. Ability to communicate in an effective manner and work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
