The Clinical Demonstration Project Coordinator (CDPC), Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC) serves as the project coordinator on all GRECC clinical demonstration projects.
As such, the CDPC works under the direct supervision of the Director, GRECC and assumes continuing and substantial responsibility for project coordination, data collection, monitoring data quality, and ensuring that all aspects of each project are completed in a timely manner.
As the CDPC, the nurse is required to perform functions typical of a licensed registered nurse. In addition, the incumbent supports, facilitates and ensures completion of all aspects of the projects and makes significant contributions to the achievement of the projects overall goals. This position requires
rious skills and knowledge not only in clinical provision of nursing care and other health services but also in all phases of quality improvement including training of clinical staff, assisting with data analysis, providing feedback to the staff, and assessing the impact of these activities on the outcomes of interest.
Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.

Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency
accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia
. In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement of graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
Current certification in BLS
Applicant's education and length of nursing practice (experience) will be considered by a Nurse Professional Standards Board in determining the grade and salary of the applicant selected. The recommended salary may be at any point in the range listed for this vacancy.
