The Department of English, Foreign Languages and Literatures is seeking candidates a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in English.
The Department seeks individuals who share our commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for our students by implementing innovative teaching practices in the classroom while developing a strong reasearch program that involves undergraduates.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and exerience.
All applicants must have a doctorate in English or closely related discipline at the time of application.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in using modern teaching approaches that incorporate active learning is desirable. Experience in mentoring undergraduate research students, teaching undergraduates, and/or working with students from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
