This position will provide clerical support to various programs within Lockton Affinity by assisting with invoices, drafting letters, and issuing certificates.
Enters data into the computer system by operating an alphanumeric keyboard, and verifies by sight that keyed data is accurate, complete, and conforms to established procedures.
Information is collected from multiple documents. Ability to recognize if all data is available and correct, if data is not correct, question and recognized the steps needed to correct.
Prepares billing invoices, form letters, binders, endorsements, audits and cancellations from resource information provided from new business and renewals.
Assembles policies, new business and renewal documents for client.
Performs other clerical duties in accordance with specific and detailed instructions.
Makes positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strives to improve service to the customer.
Communicates in a positive manner to contribute to a cohesive, pleasant work environment.
Assists in processing certificates of insurance, auto id cards.
Attends department meetings, educational workshops, staff meetings, and social functions.
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent education and/or experience.
Typing speed of at least 45 wpm.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use word processing and database software in an automated office environment.
Solid aptitude for mathematical proficiency.
Ability to use office equipment such s computer terminal and keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and fax machine.
Organizational and time management skills to meet time sensitive deadlines.
