Reporting to the Vice President of Technical Services, this person is responsible for basic engineering practices to support the engineering department on both project related matters and compliance matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Researches specific support information assigned to them to be included in upper level proposals, specification, and applications.
· Actively involved in compliance activities to ensure all country, federal, state, and local laws are adhered to.
· Analyze data and perform preliminary calculations under close supervision.
· Create and provide drawing assistance for the design and construction of various engineered designs.
· Perform computer aided calculations with the use of spreadsheets, engineering software, and computer aided design.
· Provide technical writing support using standard word processing software.
· Proficient in engineering skills either in mechanical, civil, electrical, or naval architecture.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

· A foreign language is a plus but not a necessity.
