Experience/Qualifications: Telephone or switchboard operation, front desk (office) work, customer service or other applicable skills helpful
Special Skills: Ability to operate computer & telephone. Ability to accomplish tasks while having numerous interruptions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; frequently to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently , and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Directs patients and other hospital visitors to appropriate locations throughout the hospital. Serves as information resource for a variety of public and internal audiences. Answers incoming telephone calls, routing them appropriately. Handles various other duties, particularly during less busy times at front desk, as assigned by supervisor. Assist with preparation of hospital volunteer services, marketing & business office in the form of assembling direct mail pieces. Provides delivery services of DVDs and Patient E-mail Cards to patients. Maintains Companion-Sitters Listing & DVDs & Listing.
