This position will play a key role in assisting the Sr. HRIS Manager to ensure the timely development, implementation and ongoing support of the HRM solutions including customization, configuration, development testing, upgrading, interfacing, integration, security, data loading and exporting, user training, data analytics and management reporting utilizing best-practice program management strategies, tools and methods.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify work process and system requirements and effectively implement the design of HRM solutions that anticipate customer needs and result in best-in-class HR work processes.
Develop an in-depth understanding of Flagstar’s data sources, tables and data relationships in a short period of time to ensure the accuracy of the data contained inside various HRM solutions as well as how it relates to data contained within other areas of the organization.
Design, implement, maintain and support existing reports which combine data from multiple data sources and schedule and/or deliver reports based on the specified timetable (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc).
Manage (and conduct as required) the daily processing of EDI transactional activity between company systems and trading partners.
Work with various vendors to analyze EDI data feed requirements and assist in creating new EDI feeds as needed.
Work with various internal and external auditors to validate HRM processes and the data contained with.
Assist other HR teams with other tasks as needed to ensure the timely and accurate entry of data into the HRM system.
Ensure that HR Security guidelines and processes are enforced.
Ensure that HR workflow processes are happening in a timely fashion and are compliant with all internal and external requirements.
Provide detailed documentation of systems and processes, as well as end-user training as needed.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Ability to discretely maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Advanced Excel, Access, query/reporting technical skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills in order to gather and interpret information and to identify discrepancies.
Ability to know and understand customer requirements and exercise judgment in meeting reasonable expectations.
Demonstrated ability to manage and meet assignment deadlines through personal initiative on several simultaneously assigned tasks.
Manage a large queue of work with daily shifting priorities and to provide regular status reports as requested.
Must understand and carefully follow security guidelines concerning confidential information.
Experience with SQL coding and/or other database tools, in-depth experience with relational databases a plus.
Knowledge in the creation of Executive Dashboards and other Business Metrics and HR Metrics a plus.
