BAE Systems has an opening for a Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) Field Support Representative (FSR) to work on the OCONUS deployment of the VADER/VEGS GMTI/Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensor and exploitation system. This FSR role includes both analysis and system maintenance.
Major analytical responsibilities include exploiting GMTI data and SAR imagery in a multi-INT fusion environment with use of multiple intelligence analysis sources, creating and disseminating intelligence products, both near real-time and forensic, cross-cueing with other platforms, and supporting collection management. Major technical responsibilities will include performing routine system administration tasks, information assurance compliance functions, and system troubleshooting in both Windows and Linux Operating systems. Analytical and technical responsibilities will be conducted in both a ground based shelter and while operating in a manned aircraft
The candidate will provide accurate and timely intelligence products to the supported customer, maintain the VADER/VEGS system, test new features and identify deficiencies, and work with the customer to refine system architecture. The candidate will help refine TTPs and CONOPS based on feedback,
The position is located OCONUS, but involves traveling to various locations CONUS for training prior to deployment. This position averages two months of CONUS pre-deployment training, and a six month OCONUS deployment. The Candidate has the option to extend the six month OCONUS deployment time with mangers approval.
12+ Years with HS including specialized training at a military school or 10+ Years with AA or 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD Required Experience:
The position will require an OCONUS deployment of six months in a combat zone. Candidate must meet customer mandated fitness standards requirements to pass a flight physical and deploy OCONUS. Customer must successfully complete Altitude Chamber training, weapons qualification, and High Risk of Isolation (HRI) training. Customer reserves the right to approve all contract personnel. Experience with MOVINT Client, Google Earth, ISR Forensics Tool, SOCET GXP, Software Backup and Archiving applications, Putty, System Architecture, mIRC, and Microsoft Office.
