The Quality Tech / Coordinate Measuring Machine - Ceramic Composite Products (CCP) will support the quality team in driving quality systems for cutting edge CMC manufacturing technology.
In addition, you will:
Manage CMM inspection programs from CAD models (uni-graphics and ProE)
Use the Coordinate Measuring machine (CMM), program the inspection of and analyze results to determine whether they comply with their respective engineering requirements (to meet program schedules)
Manage maintenance and calibration to assure the CMM remains in working order, able to measure accurately and reliably
Assess the potential application of new inspection technologies and, if selected, assures their effective adoption and use
Assure inspection practices are effective and up-to-date
Be able to use all types of standard measuring equipment for inspection of parts and tooling
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience

Ability and willingness to support 2nd shift operations

Competent to program, perform and analyze CMM inspection
Competence with Uni-Graphics (UG) or ProE CAD software sufficient to create CMM inspection programs directly from CAD designs and review new models to ensure compliance with Engineering drawing requirement
Knowledgeable of ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard
Competent with Microsoft office applications
Written and oral communication skills
Zeiss Calypso experience
Competent with ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
Knowledge of and experience with ANSI Z540 and ISO requirements for calibration systems
Knowledge of machining methods
Leadership and organizational skills
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector
